What is Over-The-Top (OTT)?

Over-the-top (OTT) is delivery of video, audio, and other media content directly to consumers over the internet, bypassing traditional media such as cable, broadcast and satellite television platforms.  

Connected TV refers to a television set that is connected to the internet, either directly through built-in internet capability or indirectly through devices such as streaming media players (e.g., Roku, Amazon Fire Stick, Apple TV), gaming console (e.g., Playstation, Xbox), or other devices that enable streaming.  CTV allows users to access OTT content as well as traditional broadcast content.
